What can I expect from a fat transfer breast augmentation procedure?
The administration of an anesthetic is the first step, followed by liposuction in the donor area.
With liposuction, lidocaine is first used in the treatment area to reduce discomfort. Once the fat has been harvested from the donor area, it is then purified and sterilized for use. Dr. Chang will then strategically inject the new fat into your breasts. This procedure does not require incisions, only small, round punctures for the gentle fat extraction.
After your surgery you will wear a compression garment to help reduce swelling and to support your enhanced breasts. You should plan on having someone drive you home after the procedure.
What is the recovery time?
